How to be Happy, Resilient and Effective in Times of Crisis

By: Annie McKee x Fylí

Annie McKee, PhD, Author and Senior Fellow University of Pennsylvania

There is no doubt that it is harder to lead in times of crisis. It is also difficult to remain resilient, much less happy, when crises last over time and are compounded by multiple challenges. In this session, Annie will share how you can develop and use key emotional intelligence competencies such as self awareness and empathy to support your own and others’ health and well-being at work. She will also show how these abilities link to a sense of purpose and meaningful work, optimism, and positive relationships—all of which lead to happiness at work and in life. As part of her session, she will share practical strategies to help you stay engaged, resilient and inspired.
